The ideal combination of an ETA visa and work permit, the Australian working holiday visa allows the holder a minimum of 1 year (12 months) in Australia to live and work.
Work in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa
The visa is open to nationals from certain eligible countries between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive). The primary purpose of the visa is travel so the holder is not permitted to work for any one employer for any longer than 6 months.
Recently, the Australian working holiday program has expanded offering the opportunity for a second year (an additional 12 months) in Australia. Visa holders who complete 3 months work in a seasonal capacity in a regional area are eligible for this visa extension.
