Australia’s newest residents, rare giant pandas Funi and Wang Wang from China, are expected to draw tourists and international visitors to the Adelaide Zoo.

The pandas have time to settle into their new environs before their zoo enclosure becomes open to public on 13 December 2009.
A big screen TV will be positioned in front of their $8 million exhibit to allow visitors to the Adelaide Zoo to see the newest stars from every angle.
The pair will live in the Adelaide Zoo for 10 years with the hope that they will start breeding in 2012.
To visit Funi and Wang Wang, or any other Australian attraction, foreign nationals will need to have an
Australian Travel Visa. The most common is the
ETA Visa, which can now be applied for online. As it is approved almost instantly and electronically attached to your passport you could be ready to go within minutes.
